I.C. Special is the 2009 album by roots and blues artists Joe Filisko (harmonica, vocals) and Eric Noden (guitar, vocal, harmonica. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at JoyRide studios in Chicago by Blaise Barton. I.C Special is named after the Illinois Central train line that ran from Chicago to New Orleans. The record features 15 songs written by Joe and Eric that pay tribute to the early acoustic styles of American roots and blues music.
